Performance coaching focuses on balancing:
✔ Your skills level (what are you able to do effectively with your current skills in your current or future work)
✔ The challenge level (what is required of you in your current or future work)
Central to this is of course looking into: What is it you wish to acheive? Your core values, your motives, that which brings and continues to keep you in your flow.
Some examples :
✔ Are you receiving feedback from your team members, manager or others that strengthening certain skills will make you more effective at your job?
✔ Do you wish to strengthen a certain skill yourself in order to feel more equipped to perform your best?
✔ Do you aspire a new role but does this require something different from the skills you have applied so far and do you wish to strengthen / use them more effectively?
These are all wonderful topics to work on together with a coach.
